The meeting yesterday was very well attended and a longer update is in the works with all the details. Things are a bit delayed because of a Zoom snafu and I need to rerecord the audio explanation that is missing. While I work on that, the presentation slides are included at the bottom of this post.
The key take-aways from yesterday are:
- We will move to using this website in preference over Nextdoor.com due to all the recent changes made over the last year to the ND interface. ND is still a great resource for finding missing livestock/pets, getting recommendations for contractors, rehoming items you no longer want, etc. For road discussions though, this website will be the tool of choice going forward.
- Coupled with the above, commenting on new posts is now permitted. All it takes is entering in your email address. Your first comment tied to that address will be held for moderation, but after approval, future comments will not be moderated.
- A mailing list is setup for all residents. Details will follow in a separate post.
- And finally, suffice to say with almost 40 residents in attendance, consensus has been that we should restart the road association. What that means exactly will be also be detailed in an upcoming post.

Maybe we can post a few signs of “Private Road For Residents And Guests Only No Trespassing” along on the road to eliminate traffic/non-residents.
Redoing the Private Road signs is definitely an item on the to-do list.
