At last Saturday’s meeting just about everyone was in agreement with the proposed idea to restart the past road association and updating the old bylaws as necessary. At the close of the meeting I said that in addition to posting about the mailing list and uploading the video of the presentation I would make a post here stating the above.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, please watch the video linked in this post. The presentation portion is only about 30minutes long and will get you up to speed quickly. (The remaining time was the discussion period which was hard to capture since I was the only person with a microphone.)

Then use this space to ask/answer questions and voice concerns and thoughts. You will need to enter in your email address and should use your actual name (not a nickname or alias.). Your first comment will be held for approval and after it is approved, future posts will not require moderation.

Also if anyone living up here is familiar with WordPress and would like to be tapped as an editor or just a moderator for comments, please let me know via stega@purgatory.org .

    Hi LC,
thank you for organizing the meeting last Saturday, and more generally for taking the lead on all matters related to our shared road. I agree we need to have a better way to address road issues discussed at the meeting, from cleanup drainage, repairs, handling construction traffic, to having a common voice in dealing with the County and the water association. The old association’s way to apportion costs seems fair and reasonable, so those by-laws seem like a good basis to build on, and the most cost-efficient approach to get a new association going.

I setup a regular/weekly zoom meeting so we can start planning next steps and get volunteers to work on specific items…..I’ll include a lot of what you typed above. 🙂
