Status Report/Notes for the Meeting that was held to discuss the drainage issues which plague the road below 4017 HHL

Action Items
1) Drains 3 and 4 on upper HHL
Both of these drains are blocked. Rui (4009) has a plumbing contact who he reached out to. That plumber came out Thursday to look at the four drains on upper HHL. Drains 3 and 4 are blocked: in fact there are weeds are growing out of drain 4. Later this week we expect cost estimate for cleaning these drains out. Doing so will divert some of the water currently flooding downhill residents.
2) The unused swale that was put in as part of the CoA for the development of 4020. This swale is intended to divert water to Flint Creek.
The previous owner of 4017 allowed this swale to fall into disuse. This is the primary cause of the floodwaters that pool lower down. For future discussions of this issue it would be very helpful if representatives of 4017 and 4003 were involved. We will reach out directly to these parcels in the hope that they will attend the next meeting.
3) Potential construction of additional drains at 4002/4004
Per the recommendations of civil and geotechnical engineers this would divert any remaining water. This is tabled until 1&2 are underway, as altering the roadway is best done while we also complete any paving work.
